New Ford Focus with 1.0 TD engine
UK edition “Auto Express” published information about the next generation of Ford Focus, which will appear on the market in the 2010th, along with the new C-Max. According to his source, the vehicle will be in the style of concept Iosis Max, you see the picture and will get new units.
Base will be 1.0-liter gas turbine power units of the family EcoBoost, which will be available with capacities of 89 and 108k.s. The range will be complemented by 1.6-liter unit in two versions – 148 and 178h.p. and by 1.6 and 2.0-liter diesel, whose capacity will be 128 to 197h.p.
All engines will be able to work as a mechanical gearbox, and the transmission robot “PowerShift” double clutch. Most likely there will be version equipped with a system for automatically stopping and starting the unit.
