Opel with electric concept

Opel ElectricOpel will present the forthcoming exhibition in Geneva a new concept car, whose first teaser was released today. According to preliminary data model will be called Flexitreme GTE and is equipped with a hybrid system of Opel Ampera. According to Press Releases in this concept the company aims to open up prospects for the development of many new features which will continue to distinguish the brand – this study combines expressive and appealing design with precision design in Germany in order to meet the environmental challenges of the future. With its combination of design, environmental innovation and alternative propulsion, the conceptual model of the Opel demonstrated that the size and comfort need not necessarily be the sacrifice of efficient propulsion and environmental performance. In addition to this concept of the Opel stand in Geneva will present several models. We know these are electric Ampera, which however has received some improvements, and long mileage, the new generation Meriva, revealed at the beginning of the year and refreshed Corsa.

Revealed a new generation of Opel Astra

Opel AstraColleagues from Autoblog.nl published photos of the new generation Opel Astra, which are scanned from the leaflet, get in the hands of the Dutch.
The car will be officially presented at the exhibition in Frankfurt in September. It is built on a platform Delta II, which is also used for the Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Volt hybrid and Opel Ampera.
Yet there is no technical data to the model, but according to some media coverage of the area will remain the same, while others argue that it would be a 1.4-liter turbine power units with capacity 120 and 140k.s., which will replace one of these units.
