At the end of last week, General Motors handed the keys of the first owners of new-generation Vauxhall Astra, the brand which is sold under the popular Opel model of the Island. Therefore the new Astra was introduced first in Britain since it is this will be its main European market. It is envisaged that approximately 25% of the total output of the model is aimed at UK customers. Last days the tuning masters of Opel Steinmetz introduced a master of optimized versions of three new models of the brand. Zafira, Tigra Twin and Astra and have received full aerodynamic package, sport suspension, new details in the interior and improved performance of some engines. All models have removed the emblem of Opel and complexity of Steinmetz grille. Opel Astra is 30 millimeters lower. Characteristic of the model are 19-inch alloy wheels, spoilers front and rear, both the exhaust nozzle. 1,7 CDTI diesel engines and 1,9 CDTI, which have a standard power of 100 and 150 h.p. are forced respectively to 121 and 175 h.p. power of 2,0 Turbo petrol engine is increased from 200 of 230 h.p. Tuning of the Opel Tigra Twin Top is only optical. The car was shot with 30 mm lower and has a new sports suspension with new alloy wheels.

The German tuning company Irmscher, which specializes in developing sports programs for all models of Opel, first pictures of the spread styling package for the new Astra.  Although for the moment by Irmscher not report many details of the photos shows that the program includes new bumpers, grille, side aprons and four of the exhaust nozzle system. Clearly, customers can choose between the new alloy wheels, measuring 18 to 20 inches, and a desire to replace the suspension of the car with less. Interior tuner will offer sports seats, steering wheel, gear lever, pedals and more. Irmscher will reveal the full package for the new Opel Astra at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be held next month.
