Toyota presented the hybrid Auris
Thursday, February 18th, 2010
As we announced at the forthcoming exhibition in Geneva, unless renewed RAV4, Toyota will display and modification of the hybrid model Auris, which earlier today, the Japanese company photo spread. Auris HSD is based on the eponymous concept debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show last autumn and will be the first hybrid model of Toyota, which will be produced in Europe. The car will appear at dealers in the Old Continent in July and will be able to run and in pure electric mode. By the Japanese company has not disclosed details of its hybrid system, but hard to speculate that it would be identical to that of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid. We remind you that this Prius has a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with a power 97k.s., advanced electric motor and lithium-ion batteries, rechargeable in a standard household contact for 1.5 hours.
