Already in May 2010 Land Rover disseminate information about its first hybrid model Range_e, which is based on Range Rover Sport. The car will debut at the Geneva Motor Show, but the company decided to disclose more technical information about it now. You already know that hybrid system Land Rover Range_e consists of turbo, 3.0-liter, V6 engine Range Rover Sport, 25-kilowatt electric motor, a set of lithium-ion batteries and eight-speed automatic transmission with brand ZF. Range_e can cover whole 32 km only on electricity, thanks to its plug-in hybrid technology, but with all the autonomy charged battery and chock tank is an impressive 1080 km. The maximum speed that is developing the car does 193 km/h and emitted its CO2 emissions are 89 gr/km. More details on Land Rover Range_e will be created for the official debut of the concept in Geneva, where we will see more brand new model Range Rover Evoque, and special performances Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate 4 and Discovery Landmark.

The Croatian company Dok-Ing presented the prototype of urban electric XD even the exhibition in Geneva, but a few days ago demonstrated its capabilities and showed its features. Dok-Ing XD is a three-seated, and access to its interior is through two vertical opening doors. Dimensions of the car is 2800 mm length 1700 mm width and 1600 mm height. Town Car is powered entirely by electricity, the engine and generates power 106 h.p. allows minicar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h for 7.7 sec and develop up to 130 km/h. Autonomy does vary from 200 to 250 km. In recent years, hardly goes great trade fair, which Citroen not to present their stunning concept. This week in Geneva, showed so-called from the French Survolt, which seems to come from another planet. From Seat decided to show the direction in which it will develop the design of future models of the company’s electric concept by IBE, presented at the exhibition launch in Geneva. The car model is based on Ibiza and a 2 +2 coupe local, but its dimensions are more compact than its donor. Its length is 3.78 meters, width 1.8 meters, 1,2 meters, and weight – just 1,000 kg. Seat IBE Concept is powered by an electric motor with power 102 h.p., for which energy is supplied by a set of lithium-ion batteries located in the rear. Curiously, the unit power is limited to 68 horsepower and maximum speed to 160 km/h, with full capacity being released only in extreme situations and it briefly. This is done to maximize efficiency and increase mileage. In standard mode IBE Concept is able to travel 130 kilometers purposes. without having to recharge. BMW Group will produce its electric car in Leipzig, to this end the company made additional investments to develop production facilities, as well as several other facilities in Bavaria. BMW Group has chosen to SB LiMotive supplier of batteries for its electric car. Joint venture combines over 100 years experience of Robert Bosch GmbH in the development of technologies for the automotive industry and Samsung SDI, the world leader in sales of batteries for mobile phones and laptops. The decision to begin production in Leipzig, and Vakersdorf Landshut, BMW Group makes the next step in preparation for series production car, known as Megacity Vehicle. With it the company will offer innovative solution for sustainable mobility in urban environments. The project to create a Megacity Vehicle is part of the strategy of BMW Project i and provides the vehicle to be introduced on the market as a sub-brand of BMW in the middle of this decade.

In 2011 the U.S. electric car manufacturer Tesla Motors will suspend the assembly for some time of their first model Roadster. Reason for this is planned reconstruction of the factory, one of its suppliers. The company did not communicate when it will resume production of the Roadster, but it will certainly happen. Note that the model appeared in 2008., So far as it sold more than 1 000 copies. During the time when Tesla Roadster will be produced, the company will focus on subtle adjustments and preparation for marketing its second model, the electric sedan Model S, which should be available in 2012.

Opel will present the forthcoming exhibition in Geneva a new concept car, whose first teaser was released today. According to preliminary data model will be called Flexitreme GTE and is equipped with a hybrid system of Opel Ampera. Has become clear that Peugeot will introduce a completely new sedan in its product line, which will bear 508, and 5 with the concept by Peugeot, the French company who gives us a model for the future. The concept will be officially presented at the exhibition in Geneva. Its dimensions are 4 680 mm length, 1 880 mm width and 1 420 mm height and the distance between the two axes is 2 815 mm. 5 by Peugeot has already used technology known Hybrid4, as in this case it consists of a diesel 2.0 HDi FAP engine (163 h.p.) and electric (37 h.p.) and drive is transmitted to all four wheels. The car can be run in pure electric mode, and its combined fuel consumption is just 3.8l/100km. The company showed a Fiat Auto Show in Detroit purely electric version of the model 500, which is in the style of hot modification 500 Abarth. The car was called 500 BEV, short for Battery-Electric Vehicle, but the Italians did not disclose any details about exactly electric drive technology, rushed to declare that they do not provide mass production version. The electric car has exactly the same appearance as the Fiat 500 Abarth. The only difference is in the rear, where at 500 BEV missing ends of the exhaust system. The interior of the electrical design is a combination of black and red leather, a traditional gear lever has been replaced by buttons for control.
