This week in the factory of the Finnish company Valmet starts production of hybrid cars to the U.S. company Karma Fisker Automotive, which was shown before the three years. Pre-production version of the hybrid Fisker Karma sports sedan is made of ten demonstration tour in the U.S. and Canada. For this period, the vehicle will visit 42 cities and 26 states, announced the publication Automotive News. The main purpose of the tour is to demonstrate the readiness of Karma to enter mass production before the prospective owners, who have already made a deposit of $ 5,000, and potential customers. So far, the number of applications for Fisker Karma is 1600, all owners will be able in the second half of this year to configure their cars as their personal preferences. The first deliveries of the model does foreseen for early 2011. The price of the Fisker Karma in the U.S. will be in the range 80-100 thousand dollars.
