Mazda spread of photos and initial details on the new generation of the Mazda5, which will debut at the exhibition in Geneva in March. And until the car will compete in the compact MPV segment models Renault Scenic and Opel Zafira. The car has been typical of all new models of Mazda “Smiling front” as well as its predecessor with sliding rear doors and provides accommodation for 7 people in the third row of seats available. Mazda5 will be available with 1.8-liter gasoline engine of this model and the new 2.0-liter gasoline company which is a system for direct fuel injection. Furthermore, the car has upgraded ABS and start/stop system. From the photos it appears that the interior has become much more refined and stylish, but more information on equipment and technical specifications will be available at a later stage. Mazda5 is on schedule to appear in the company’s European dealers in autumn.

Our colleagues from Autoblog.it announced that Mazda is working on a new compact crossover, which will be released for sale in the 2011th. The car is based on the Mazda3, and will be marketed in Europe and the United States. From Autoblog.it also argue that the crossover will be called the CX-3 and will be available with new engines Sky-G and Sky-D, that Mazda presented the exhibition in Tokyo in October. Aggregates will be combined with a new transmission Sky-Drive, shown on the same showroom. the car is looking good and has very nice design and good engine and trasmission.

Mazda is preparing to present to the market several new models with petrol engines, upgraded. Among them will be the new generation of mini tub and Mazda 5 Mazda Tribute. The new Mazda5 will be in the style of concept Nagare, Mazda Tribute and the new will be created based on the crossover Ford Kuga. The current generation of the Mazda Tribute is a twin car Ford Escape. Both models were put together and now the same way future Mazda Tribute will be almost identical with technical Ford Kuga. For vehicles using the platform C1, created jointly by Ford, Mazda, and Volvo, which already can be seen in the stylish crossover Kuga, Mazda3 and Focus.

From the Japan concern Mazda presented 5-door Mazda3 MPS. Sports modification is driven by the 2.3-liter turbine power units of this model, which is a power 260 h.p. and maximum torque 380Nm. Aggregates combined with 6-stage mechanical gearbox, this allows the car accelerates from 0 to-100 kilometers / hr for 6.2sek. Mazda3 MPS has a stop speed of 250 kilometers / h and average fuel consumption is 9.7l/100km. mileage, which is 0.5l. less than that of its predecessor. As usual, the design modification of the sport is more aggressive than the standard model. This is achieved through a new grid bumper, front cover, side sills, rear spoiler and Venturis roof. Mazda3 MPS received also LED lights, 18-inch wheels and sports interior design.

Complete modernization of the Mazda CX-7, a car will meet the standards for environmental protection Euro 5. One of the main changes is that instead of petrol engine volume 2.3 liters, the car will now be available in Europe turbo-diesel engine volume 2.2 liters. Thus, fuel consumption and emissions of CO2 have decreased considerably. Changes in appearance include the new “family” counter Mazda, new design front bumper, radiator grille and headlights similar to those of new generations of the Mazda 6 and Mazda 3. In front of the car, fog lamps and chrome thresholds has more elements. CX-7 will be the first Mazda model available in Europe with the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) which reduces emissions of nitrogen oxides by 40 percent.

For the exhibition in Frankfurt from Mazda have prepared a special concept MX-5, which was developed for the 20 anniversary of the appearance of models. The car is called Superlight and is a typical type of speedster. The concept will be extremely light construction, allowing a significant improvement in energy efficiency, which in turn will reduce the fuel consumption and harmful emissions emitted. Not yet reported any other information about the Mazda MX-5 Superlight, but some publications claim that the engine will be 1.8 or 2.0-liter, and that any future development of the serial model is very unlikely. We remind you that Mazda has launched in the Japanese market version of the anniversary MX-5, which is also developed for the 20 th anniversary model that is sold at an open sports car in the world.

During the exhibition in Frankfurt in September, its European debut would make renewed Mazda RX-8, whose sales in Germany will start in October with a price of 38 000 euros. European version of Mazda RX-8 does not differ in anything from Japan. Company engineers have highlighted the serious aerodynamics of the car through new bumpers and spoiler. Mazda RX-8 has also received a modified exhaust system with enlarged ends, 19-inch wheels in a dark gray and rear LED lights, a visible new interior seats, steering wheel and dashboard light changes. Regarding the engine Mazda RX-8, it remains a 1.3-liter rotor of this model, but its power was increased from 192 targets 231 PS by 6-stage combined with mechanical transmission. Achieved result is acceleration from 0-100 kilometers / hr for 6.4sec and a maximum speed of 234 kilometers / hr.
