Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) today announced the upcoming presentation of a completely new model – a compact crossover, which will be officially launched in Japan next February 2010. And its European premiere is scheduled for exhibition in Geneva next spring. The car comes from receiving the universal approval Concept-cX Concept since 2007. The newest model is part of the global platform of Mitsubishi cars for middle class – “Project Global”. This new and most significant product will support the company’s strategic transition – focusing on models in the SUV to a producer of environmentally friendly cars and crossover, with a presence in the segment of “authentic ofroudari, which should also be restructured to new market demand. After electric i-MiEV, compact crossover will be the next player in Mitsubishi, which will change the game rules and will require the production of cars complying with the environment – they were entirely new models or deployment in this range of innovative technologies developed by MMC.
