Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will make its world premiere of an entirely new model, the crossover ASX, during the 80th International Motor Show in Geneva, which will be held from 2nd to 14th March, 2010. ASX model is the European version of the already presented RVR, which launched sales in Japan is planned for next month. The new 5-seater crossover from Mitsubishi will be launched in Europe in early summer, in order to extend the presence of MMC cars in the region. Among the proposed aggregates ASX is the all-new 1.8-liter diesel engine with direct injection and turbo compressor meeting the Euro 5 standard. The unit is jointly MMC and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. technology and has “Automatic Stop & Go”. In addition to the 6-speed manual gearbox, this modification is characterized with high environmental efficiency.
