Quite unexpectedly, the German company Porsche revealed that electrical work on a prototype based on the model Boxster, which is not scheduled to be introduced into production. The three copies of the so-called Boxster E will be tested in Stuttgart and around the city for several months to enable the company to gather and analyze data on their applicability in daily use. Currently there is little information on electric, but it is clear that it is equipped with two electric motors whose total capacity is 245 h.p. and energy for them comes from 29 kWh lithium-ion battery. Although not reported specific data on the dynamics of the Porsche Boxster E, the company said that they are very close to those of the Boxster S, which accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 5.0 sec and a top speed of 274 km/h.

Recently Porsche announced that in 2010. sold 20% more cars in the Middle East compared with the previous year, which is probably why we put a special version of the Panamera, designed for this market. Porsche Panamera 4S Exclusive Middle East Edition debuts at the ongoing Auto Expo in Qatar, as it will be produced only 66 copies, each priced at 120,000 euros. The car is distinguished with exterior body color Carrera White Metallic and 20-inch wheels Turbo II. Its interior is designed with red leather upholstery Carrera Red and black Alcantara and on the thresholds under doors bear the serial number of each item. The engine of the Panamera 4S Exclusive Middle East Edition is the standard model for 4.8-liter V8, whose power is 395 h.p. It is combined with PDK seven-speed transmission, transferring to a four-wheel drive.

We look forward Lumma Design to introduce its very aggressive body kit for Porsche Cayenne, whose sketches were distributed in May, but the German tuning company decided to first come up with a lighter program model. This package includes mainly mechanical improvements, certainly not lacking and cosmetic changes. There are two new models 22 and 23-inch wheels and sport exhaust system with four 90 mm nozzle. For the interior are provided for more changes, including new carpets, aluminum pedals, and made of same material inserts in the door sills, with the logo of Lumma Design. As for the engine tuning for the time being this is only available for Cayenne Diesel. By module D-Box, power 3.0-liter V6 engine increases from 240 to 276 h.p. and maximum torque – 550 of 630 h.p.

As TechArt already presented two optical package Porsche Panamera, until the Germans offered no engine tuning model. This problem is solved, even partially, so that the owners of the modification Panamera Turbo can now increase the power of your machine. The German tuning specialists have prepared a set of so-called TA 070/T1, that 4.8-liter V8 turbo engine gets extra 80 h.p. and 70 Nm. Due to this the ultimate power reaches 580 h.p. and torque – 830 Nm. And while the standard Porsche Panamera Turbo accelerates from 0-100 km/h for 4.2 sec and with the Company for the Sport Chrono Package 4.0 sec then with the TechArt tuning car shoots for 3.8 sec, acceleration from 0-200 km/h do it for 12.5 sec and the maximum speed was increased from 303 to 315 km/h. If you are lucky enough to have one of the owners of the Panamera Turbo, but the standard 500 horses were not enough, the proposal for additional power from TechArt will be available in August for partners tuning company.

The Russian tuner TopCar has decided to enter seriously into this business after almost every month comes out with new proposals. The sequential model that the company has elaborated a new generation of the Porsche Cayenne, as it provided for three different programs. Two packages will be capped at 25 units and the third will be offered free but with all the power of the standard V8 engine was increased by 35% to 760 h.p. This is achieved by preprogrammed control software and a new exhaust system. The main differences between the three programs are in appearance, as their names are two Vantage, Vantage GTR2 and the Advantage 2. Interestingly in the latter is that the Cayenne headlights were replaced with those of the sports car 911. For the moment of TopCar not disclose what the dynamic performance tuning of Porsche Cayenne, as most likely they will become known to the Motor Show in Moscow, which will be held in August.

Lumma Design tuning company released computer images of their styling package CLR 550 GT, designed for the new Porsche Cayenne, which of course makes the car quite aggressively broadcasting. The experts have developed a complete body kit including disparate bumpers, hood, grille, wheel arches, side skirts and rear diffuser, and two massive rear spoiler. Exterior is complemented by large alloy wheels with size 23 inches, and new ends of the exhaust system, which are three in number and are embedded in the middle of the rear diffuser. For the moment, from Lumma not provided power tuning for Porsche Cayenne, but at a later stage will surely come with such a proposal.

Several months after the market was renewed introduced Porsche 911 Turbo, tuning companies began to provide sports programs for their model, as another of them Sportec. German specialists in tuning the car brand Porsche has developed a package SP580, which power 3.8-liter engine increases from standard 500 580k.s. but peak torque remains unchanged – 650 Nm. Available in the range 1950-5 000 rev/min. As a result of improvements made in the assembly, tuning Porsche 911 Turbo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h for only 3.2 sec and from 0 to 200 km/h for amazingly 10.3 sec. We can add also that the maximum speed is 323 km/h developing. For comparison, the serial model these rates are 3.4 sek, 11.3sek. and 312 km / h. For maximum stability of the car at high speeds by Sportec has developed aerodynamic package including front spoiler missing, side skirts and rear wing. The appearance of the vehicle tuning is completed by 20-inch wheels.

The number of orders for the new Porsche Cayenne, which debuted at the exhibition held in Geneva in March, surpasses all expectations. The information was disclosed by the publication BusinessWeek, which quoted the executive director of Porsche, Michael Macht. Germany’s has used the words “incredibly high level of demand and number of orders has surpassed all our projections, but did not disclose the exact number of requests. The new Porsche Cayenne is slightly larger than its predecessor, but its weight is reduced by as much as 200 kg. Which is achieved through the use of lightweight materials. The model uses a common platform with the new Volkswagen Touareg, which also was presented in Geneva. The luxury of Porsche sports SUV has three petrol, diesel and even hybrid modification, as its price in Europe starting from € 46,400 in base model with 3.6-liter gasoline engine.

The German tuner TechArt has developed a new program for the Porsche Panamera, which is called the Black Edition. The name fits perfectly and since it involves dressing the body in matte black vinyl. Moreover, the vehicle received optical package, consisting of spoilers, side skirts and LED daytime running lights. Germans are also equipped 4-door coupe with new tips of the exhaust system and 22-inch wheels, which is predominantly black in color. The interior of the Porsche Panamera Black Edition is wearing black leather with high quality, hand-embroidered with a contrasting red thread. It noticed numerous decorative carbon-fiber inserts, and the TechArt logo in some places.

At the end of last year’s Porsche 911 Turbo went through a facelift and although with a delay of several months, cult car received his fair of German tuning company 9ff. Sports package for the 911 Turbo is called DR700 and as implied by its name, it increases the power of the 3.8-liter engine from standard 500 h.p. to extreme 700 h.p. while maximum torque rises from 870 Nm to 650 Nm. To achieve this performance, engineers have modified 9ff ECU-it and have developed new catalysts, air filter, intercoolers, intake and exhaust systems. Furthermore, the engine is equipped with a new camshaft, and the work of PDK gearbox is optimized. Tuning Porsche 911 Turbo is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h for 3.2 sec, 0-200 km/h for 9.4s ec and 0-300 km/h for 23 sec Note that the standard 911 Turbo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h for 3.4 sec and from 0-200 km/h. for 11.3 sec.
