The German tuners PPI Automotive Design from a special limited edition presented PPI Razor GTR. The instruments are processed Audi R8, having turned their attention primarily to reduce weight, improve the dynamics of the engine, aerodynamics and management. The maximum power is increased to 580 hp at 7 400 rpm. and the maximum torque reaches 600 Nm at 6200 rpm. GTR Razor weight is 250 kilograms less and it weighs 1300 kilograms. Thanks to these changes, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is about 3.7 seconds and top speed is 332 kilometers per hour PPI have developed a new lightweight wheels, which are put racing tires. Front wheel sizes are 10Jx19 MAG11, and tires – 255/35 ZR 19 Michelin Pilot Sport 2. Rear wheels are 11,5 Jx20 MAG11 with tires 325/25 ZR 20 Michelin Pilot Sport 2. Also impressive are the high-tech braking system with six pistons together with the huge brake discs.

From Audi pulled the curtain of the long-awaited R8 Spyder, whose debut will be held on the upcoming motor show in Frankfurt, having spread official photos of the model. Contrary to the suspensions that convertible version of Audi R8 will be a roof type barrow, vehicle has been fully collapsible ceiling, but the photos are not visible if it is hard or soft, and lacking information. Audi R8 Spyder has undergone minor changes compared with the coupe version, some of which were indispensable for the specific nature of convertibles. The back cover is a new additional air vents, whose function is to cool the engine better, but the shape of the side air intakes is modified. According to preliminary information, Audi R8 Spyder will be available only with 5.2-liter V10 unit, whose power is 525 h.p. and maximal torque reaches 530Nm. Whether this will prove to be true we will find these days, when the company disclosed all details of the model.
