The new Saab owners have a great desire to establish a serial model of the concept hatchback 9.1, but the objective will require additional funding, amounting to 1 billion U.S. dollars, which is unlikely to receive in the next few years. By Saab and Spyker have planned to use common components for some of their models and activities combine marketing, advertising, sales and sponsorship. In this way they will optimize costs as management of Saab Spyker Automobiles NV is confident that the brand will regain profitability after two years.
