Thanks to the first official pictures of the new Saab 9-5, now we can meet all of the model that will debut at the exhibition in Frankfurt, and sales will start in April 2010th with a base price of 35 000 euros. The new generation Saab 9-5 has received very different design. Front of the car is enlarged radiator grille, a tapered headlights and integrated armor in daylight. Rear of the car is really impressive, as many LED lights highlight the elegant and kind. The interior of the car is typical for models of Saab dashboard, which is in the form of a figure “7″ and the ignition of the engine through Start button located on the central console. Swedes have many additional features, including bi-xenon lights, entertainment system for rear passengers, audio system Harman Kardon, no-key access and Panasonic navigation system with 8-inch screen. The new Saab 9-5 platform used Epsilon II, which is the development of GM, as the distance between the two axles of the vehicle is 2.84 meters. Which means that the body is quite large. Enlarged and the luggage compartment of a sedan, as it can now fit up to 513 liters capacity. The engine with Saab 9-5 will be offered initially three petrol – 1.6 (160 h.p.), 2.0 (210 h.p.) and 2.8 (280 h.p.) and two 2.0-liter diesel, which powers are 160 and 190 h.p. At a later stage will be introduced a hybrid version and modification using biofuel.
