Toyota Etios debuted in India
Of the ongoing exhibition in Delhi, Toyota presented its conceptual model Etios, whose serial version will appear in India this year, the price is around 500 000 rupees (approximately 7 400 million). Toyota Etios been developed specifically for the Indian market is planned as a year of it to produce 70 000 pieces. At a later stage, it is possible that the model appeared in China and Brazil, where interest – and worldwide. The car will be available in sedan and hatchback versions, both of which are shown at the exhibition. Concept sedan is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine and hatchback – with a 1.2-liter gasoline. These engines will be offered in both versions, as well, and they provided 1.4-liter diesel with a power 90 h.p. known to us by the Yaris. Incidents will be 90% similar to the concepts. The reason Toyota to develop cars specifically for the Indian market is the company’s wish to take a larger market share as the main competitor and Suzuki holds around 50% of the market in the country.
